Self portrait of the artist

The Fearless Artist

My days are spent exercising creative thought via painting with my mind’s eye and helping others to enjoy their creative energy.  These activities are the foundation of my intrepid spirit. The business of art is my occupation, painting is my passion and teaching is my inspiration.  My artwork begins with an adventurous pouring process that allows me the freedom to mingle colorful washes with passion resulting in what I call “Fearless” painting. I design work to mix emotion with inspiration and paint causing a fusion of representation and abstraction.           Swimming fearlessly in an ocean of vivid colors, I create an imaginative environment. My mingling hues become ever changing triads and my mixes of paint and paper create cloaks of intensifying, mysterious content; continuously redirecting my interpretation of art & life. In due course my imagery is transformed into a work inspired by my world and the gifts of life.
